Synopsis:
Aida is a Latin American woman who puts herself into danger while crossing the U.S. border illegally. Through her stunning confession about the details of her crossing, and her life in the U.S. we learn about her courage, her doubt, and her regrets.
Director’s Statement:
The organization where this film is filmed helps illegal immigrants with their problems. The help primary includes free English language classes, but also their curriculum offers music classes, classes about U.S. legalities, customs, ways of living, etc.. The organization provides a childcare center where parents can have their kids taken care of while they are taking classes.
I agreed to never reveal a specific location of the organization nor say their name or any names of the illegal immigrants and others we see in the film.
