“I see Past, Present and Future existing all at once, before me …”
William Blake

Log line:

There is nothing. There is everything.

Synopsis:

A woman experiences the sudden realization that time is not linear, but that the past, present and future spiral within her simultaneously.

Director’s Statement:

DISPLACEMENT is the first film of MY INNER LIFE TRILOGY. The second film is PASSING THROUGH. The third film MONTAGE is in development. All three deal with a question of time and space when it comes to a matter of feelings. Feelings are here understood as a subjective representation of emotion, private to the individual experiencing them.

In DISPLACEMENT a woman suddenly realizes that her present is a multi faceted cross section of not only all those memories of things gone, but also all hopes and fears for her own future. She stands still in time as a vessel for the past and the future that flow through her experience of the present.
